Mom is sick

Mom is still sick she slept all day long, she didn't wake up till 8pm. Hopefully she will be feel better tomorrow so we can catch up on blogging. She is going to keep resting now.

Early morning visitor

At like 5 am mom was texting with her ex bf and she was joking around with him, he had left his cold germs here on Friday when he visited so mom is getting sick now, so she was blaming her getting sick on him. Somehow it turned into him saying should i get up and come over there and mom said lol if you really want to and he said ok i will. Mom still thinking he was kidding around like they had so many times while in high school said lol ok and put the phone away and went to go to sleep. Not even 10 minutes later he was at the front door!! Mom was in shock, I went back to sleep after greeting him and Rumer was super excited, she really likes him. He likes her too he has tried to take her with him both times he has left. And mom discovered she might loose her voice because he has pretty much lost his. Mom feels like she is in high school again thanks to ex boyfriend. This is why mom kept the fact that she was home a secret since July, if he hadn't seen her the other day walking he would have never known she was here. And mom would have liked it that way!

Rainy Day

It seems that the cousins aren't as bratty when it is rainy out so mom is kinda getting a break today. We discovered something about Rumer today, she is a TAIL PULLER!!! I was walking by her and she just grabbed onto my tail with those sharp baby teeth and was pulling on it like a tug toy! Can you believe that?! I know mommy like to keep my tail nice and feathery and it looks beautiful but that doesn't mean its a tug toy!Tomorrow moms parents and sister come home, mom can not wait till they do. She likes us well behaved dogs better. Mom finally took pictures of what Rumer does when she is on the laptop, and where I like to lay when we are in the living room. Like I think mom has said before, I do not like being right on top of anyone if I don't want to, I enjoy being off on my own but within ear and sight range of mom. Mom also spotted a woodpecker hunting in our yard today, she got two pictures but they aren't the greatest. They like to peck on the house sometimes.

Mom was sitting right next to Rumer before she took this picture, do you see the difference between our liking closeness?

Cousin Bear, Lilly and Cookie are driving mom insane. They don't listen to her at all. She has to chase Cookie around the yard to get her to come inside. She has tried shaking food dishes, bribing with treats, leaving the door open. Her throat hurts from yelling at them. I only bark if there is a good reason like a strange animal walking by the house. And Rumer only barks when she is playing or stuck on a piece of furniture. Sasha and Jessie only barked for important things too like our old neighbors that didn't like mom, and strange noises in the house, but they always stopped once mom told them to. These dogs just don't listen. Cookie even tries to tackle Rumer when she is coming when mom calls her. We all have headaches from the barking.

Now time for things that aren't upsetting.

Yesterday mom walked a lab named Jeb, she took pictures of him with her camera phone.

And today mom is keeping an eye on our neighbors dogs soooo meet Polly, Lola, Buster and Lizzie.

Melk Tert

Mom made the Melk Tert that Max posted the recipe for. It doesn't look as nice as the one that Max's mom made but mom thinks she did a pretty good job since she has never made anything like that before. Mom is more of a make sauce for her yummy baked ziti, chicken cordon bleu, and pot roast maker kinda girl. Of course Moms ex boyfriend stopped by today and he made fun of her Melk Tart, he wouldn't even taste it :(. Mommy misses her kitchen she had while her and dad were together she says she can barely cook anything in this one.

Sleepover!!!

So as you know mom is keeping an eye on Cousin Bear, Cousin Lilly and Cousin Cookie. We are having a sleepover tonight, mom of course had to take pictures. so here ya go. We all worked very hard no to do what she wanted us to.

Hope mom starts having a better time soon

Mom keeps getting into arguments with her mom. She doesn't understand how she could come from such an anti animals person. The newest argument was over Cousin Bear, Cousin Bear was moms but when mom moved out moms parents decided they wanted to keep her and wouldn't let mom take Bear with her. So Bear changed owners. Now moms mom is saying she never even wanted Bear and wants to know if there is a farm or something they can take Bear to live at. Mom told her she doesn't even know how she could say that about Bear since she wanted to take Bear with her when she moved out and they wouldn't let her. To this moms mom said she didn't want her to take Bear because she didn't want her to be burdened by having a big dog. Mom would never think she was being burdened by an animal. This is the exact reason why mom wont let these people know about Rumer. Animals are just expendable to them which they proved when they would not allow Sasha to come home. Mom had to argue with them over bring Kallum home even though he was going to be an outside only cat.

In other news our new stuff from bestbullysticks.com came today, mom bought us the small dog sampler, it came with regular bully sticks, curly bully sticks, braided bully sticks, bull trachea, and beef tendons! Yummy! She also bought us some Sam's Yam's but we haven't wanted to try those yet so mom is giving them to Cousin Bear and Cousin Cookie, so that they have a healthier treat then what they normally get. They only get rawhide.Bear and Cookie love the Sam's Yam's. Tomorrow mom's parents and sister go away to Virginia Beach and mom gets to stay here with us animals. We are going to have a lot of fun while they are gone and we are very excited about it. Mom will take lots of pictures!
